How to read these questions
- multi choice: Percentages add up to more than 100% because people can pick several. Compare options by share of respondents, not share of picks.
- matrix: Compare rows on the same column (for example, % agree) to find the weakest statement, then look at who rates it lowest.
- single choice: Read the share choosing each option, then cross-tab by a segment question to see who differs.
Frequently asked questions
How often should we run an employee pulse survey?
Monthly or quarterly with five to eight questions. Annual surveys with fifty questions produce a report; pulses produce habits.
Can employees be identified in an anonymous pulse?
Only if the group is small or you filter by several attributes at once. In anonymous surveys, SurveyHood hides results for any filtered group, or cross-tab row or column, with fewer than five responses.
How long does the internal communications survey take to complete?
About 3 minutes: 4 questions, most of them single-tap. Every question can be edited, removed or reordered in the builder before you publish.
