How to read these questions
- matrix: Compare rows on the same column (for example, % agree) to find the weakest statement, then look at who rates it lowest.
- nps: NPS = % promoters (9–10) − % detractors (0–6). Check the margin of error before calling a change between two periods.
Frequently asked questions
How often should we run an employee pulse survey?
Monthly or quarterly with five to eight questions. Annual surveys with fifty questions produce a report; pulses produce habits.
Can employees be identified in an anonymous pulse?
Only if the group is small or you filter by several attributes at once. In anonymous surveys, SurveyHood hides results for any filtered group, or cross-tab row or column, with fewer than five responses.
How long does the annual employee engagement survey take to complete?
About 7 minutes: 7 questions, most of them single-tap. Every question can be edited, removed or reordered in the builder before you publish.
