Pricing questions
Is SurveyHood free?
Yes. The Free plan includes 3 surveys and 100 completed responses a month from your own audience, all 13 question types, share links, QR codes and basic reporting. No card is needed.
What counts as a completed response?
A response counts when a respondent reaches the end of your survey and submits it. Partial responses, screen-outs and submissions rejected in quality review do not count towards your plan allowance or any audience order.
What happens when I exceed my plan limit?
Nothing is lost. Responses beyond your monthly allowance are still saved, but they are held out of results and exports until you upgrade or the next month begins. Purchased marketplace responses never count against the allowance.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time from Workspace → Billing. Monthly plans stop at the end of the current month; annual plans stop at the end of the paid year. Your surveys and data stay available on the Free plan limits.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated by our payment provider; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period.
Are purchased respondents included in my subscription?
No. Subscriptions cover survey creation and responses from your own audience. Purchased respondents are a separate, prepaid order priced per completed response.
How much does it cost to buy survey responses?
It depends on the country, survey length, how specific the audience is and how quickly you need results. Use the estimator above for an instant figure; every order is quoted exactly before you pay, and you pay only for completes that pass quality review.
How are participants verified?
Participants confirm their email, register in a country we have opened, and every response is checked for speeding, straight-lining, nonsense text and location mismatches. Flagged responses go to human review and are never billed to you.
Can I target specific countries?
Yes. Self-serve orders are available in the countries listed in the estimator; other countries and multi-country projects are priced as a custom quote.
How do annual subscriptions work?
Annual plans are billed once a year at 20% below the monthly price and renew automatically each year. You can switch to monthly at renewal.
How is survey data protected?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is enforced by row-level security in the database, respondent identities are never exposed to survey owners, and invitation emails are stored only as hashes unless you opt in to reminders.
Can businesses request custom research projects?
Yes. For larger studies, multi-country samples or managed research, contact us for an Enterprise plan or a custom quote.
