Healthcare survey questions, answered
Does a patient satisfaction survey need HIPAA safeguards?
If it collects no health information and is anonymous, generally no. If you link responses to patient records or ask about conditions, treat it as protected health information and get advice.
What should a telehealth survey ask?
Ease of joining, audio and video quality, whether the clinician listened and explained clearly, whether the issue was resolved, and whether they would choose video again.
How do I survey clinical staff without adding to their workload?
Five minutes maximum, mobile-first, open for two weeks, and visibly act on the last one.
What should a caregiver survey cover?
Whether they were kept informed, involved in decisions, given practical instructions, and know who to contact; plus their own need for support.
